There's alot good and bad things I can say about this game, but at end of the day a win is a win. If we can score 17 runs tonight let's do it again tomorrow evening again no excuses. Pitching did a phenomenal job tonight besides Justin Grimm thank God the offense came thru.
Now we got the a phenomenal rookie pitcher by the name of Jen-Ho Tseng coming in tomorrow evening let's give him a good welcome to Wrigley Field tomorrow evening. Them annoying Milwaukee Brewers are off tomorrow so let's take advantage and hopefully the Reds can get rid of them pesty Redbirds.
Now I heard that the Miami Marlins plan on giving the Brewers an extra three home games, I really hope Giancarlo Stanton, Dee Gordon and the other superstars on the roster can cause some problems for them for three days while we entertain them pesty Redbirds #gocubsgo #playsmart #flytheW #keepgoing
well ready for the loss tomorrow. Every time the bats go hard they are worn out for the next one. But still in first and proud to be a Cubs fan.
You have to go all the way back to 1936 to find the last time the Cubs scored 17+ runs three times in one season. The 1936 Cubs accomplished this feat four times, and the 1930 Cubs managed to score 17+ runs a total of six times.
Much needed and enjoyed! Especially, after that hammering the Cubs took the other night. Hopefully, this Mets series will reignite some confidence going into the final stretch. Go CUBS!
Idk why we can score 15+ 3 times within a month but get shutout by a rookie from Atlanta with a 6.7 ERA and then get swept by Milwaukee. Need some real consistency going into the playoffs here
